Garden design and planting
Layouts, bed shapes, planting plans and the planting itself. Trees, shrubs, seasonal colour and shade cover.
Shihab and a crew of eleven design, plant and maintain gardens, lawns and grounds for homes, offices and factories. We pick plants that take the heat, drain through the monsoon and still look good in April.
Most of our jobs start with a rooftop, a bare plot or a garden that has gone wild. We measure the space, test how the water sits after rain, then draw a layout you can actually build. Our own team does the earthwork, the paving, the planting and the irrigation. Nothing gets handed to a subcontractor we have not worked with.
When the garden is in, most clients keep us on a maintenance contract so it does not slide back. That is the part people forget to plan for, and it is where a garden is won or lost.
Private garden, Gulshan 2, third season after planting
Six things we are asked for most. If your job is not on this list, call anyway, we have probably done it.
Layouts, bed shapes, planting plans and the planting itself. Trees, shrubs, seasonal colour and shade cover.
Ground levelling, drainage, Bermuda or carpet grass turf, then mowing, edging and feeding on a schedule.
Pruning, shaping, hedge trimming and safe removal of storm damage. Includes pre monsoon crown thinning.
Brick and stone paths, seating areas, kerbs, soak pits and surface drains so water leaves the garden properly.
Load checked planters, waterproofing coordination, lightweight soil mixes and drip irrigation on a timer.
Monthly or fortnightly care for offices, factory grounds, schools and apartment complexes. Fixed monthly rate.
Our roof was empty concrete for six years. Shihab planned the planters around the load limit, sorted the drainage first, and now we eat dinner up there. Two summers in and nothing has died.
Nusrat Jahan, rooftop garden, DhanmondiSend a few photos and the plot size. We will tell you what is possible and what it costs before anyone visits.
